Description

Earl Klugh is finally here with HandPicked. One listen and you will know it was worth the wait. Picking up where Earl’s “Naked Guitar” (2005) left off, HandPicked is a beautiful and intimate (mostly) solo guitar album. The sixteen-track solo/duet effort includes a selection of carefully chosen songs and Earl’s own compositions. It includes remakes of classics like George Shearing’s “Lullaby of Birdland” and Thelonius Monk’s “‘Round Midnight” and more contemporary compositions like the Eagles “Hotel California”, Everly Brothers “All I Have To Do Is Dream” and the Beatles “If I Fell”. Attached is a track by track description by Earl himself talking about each track and the reason they were HandPicked for this release.
