General

Echo's Record Bar is a family run business primarily run by Angela Pringle & Mark Pringle who both have an extreme passion for the music industry. The business has been successfully running since 1988 so you can be assured you are in safe hands.
Yes you will need to register. All we need is your e-mail address and name to register. You can also register using your Gmail / Facebook Account.
In stock product means we have stock in our physical store. If you order an in stock item, we can dispatch to you as soon as payment has cleared.
Unavailable product means that the product is not currently available for us to order from any of our suppliers. From time to time some products do become available again. If you'd like to find out if a product will become available again, please contact us about the product in question.
1. You can add products from our online store to your basket and complete the checkout process either to have the products delivered to your door by courier or collect from our physical store.
2. You can visit our physical store and browse through all our in stock products like the good ol' days.
We dislike receiving emails about "our uncle passing away in a foreign country leaving us a huge inheritance and all we need to do is transfer some collateral" just as much as you do.

So No. We will not share, sell or distribute your information to any outside sources. EVER!
7 - 10 days indicates that a product is in stock with our supplier and we will be able to dispatch your order within 7 - 10 working days
The current product is out of stock with our suppliers and can take up to 6 weeks before been dispatched to you.

NB: Some products are not kept on hand with our suppliers and will only be brought in once an order has been placed for it
This Product is in stock with our supplier. On the product's page it will indicate a date which you can expect delivery. Your order will need to be placed by a certain date to ensure delivery by the expected date. Special order products will only be ordered on confirmed paid for orders.

No, we do not buy from the public or deal in used or second vinyl, CD's, DVD's or Blu-Rays. We only deal in New Sealed products.
No. All the products we sell are brand new, sealed products sourced from the relevant labels

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery is free when spending over R1000. Otherwise a flat fee of R99
Once your order has been shipped you can expect delivery within 1 -3 working days for main centres, outlying areas would be delivered within 4-5 days
Currently we offer 2 options
1. Collect from our physical store. This option is free of charge
2. Courier direct to you within the borders of South Africa.
We only ship within the borders of South Africa.
