Mr Boo, an absent-minded old gentleman, Jo-Jo, the ‘odd job’ man, Nutmeg, a rag doll, Officer Gotcha, the Cuckoo Land Constabulary, Strumpers Plunkett, Bulli Bundy and Wellibob. Together they have lots of adventures and Jamie’s magical torch often helps to save the day. And all this before Jamie’s mum discovers he is missing from his bed! This is the first time the show has been presented as a complete collection on DVD. Made in 1976 by the Cosgrove Hall animation studios in Manchester, the studio that brought to us other classic shows like Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, The Wind in the Willows, Chorlton and the Wheelies and the BFG movie. The studio was a nurturing ground for creative talent and saw such legends as Bernard Sumner (Joy Division, New Order) and John Squire (The Stone Roses) working as animators in their studios.
